  • AGE POLICY?
    Our studio age policy is 18 and above.
  • I CAN'T MAKE MY CLASS BOOKING - HOW DO I CANCEL?
    Aerial Sports has a strict policy on cancellations. (This includes online classes) 1. Classes - You must cancel classes no later than 24 hours before the class time begins. All cancellations made within 24 hours of the class starting will result in a forfeit of payment. All Cancellations must be made through your Go Team Up account. ​ 2. Private and Small Group Training - You must cancel these no later than 24 hours before the scheduled event. If you need to reschedule, please contact us to discuss your options. Our instructors work hard to prepare your session by planning in advance. ​ Whilst unforeseen circumstances do occur, its good to remember that class payments are what help keep the studio open and pay for your instructor's livelihood.
  • IS THERE PARKING ON SITE?
    Yes! There is free parking on site. Please park outside the unit or in the additional parking bays by the grass bank.
  • CAN I BRING A GUEST OR MY CHILD TO SESSIONS?
    Unfortunately no. This applies to ALL sessions. Classes and Private sessions. There will be students learning sexy content and may not feel comfortable learning around an unknown guest or child being present in the room. Due to the safety of our instructors and other students - only the participant of that session is allowed to come. We completely understand childcare can be hard to find but other students will be having sessions at the same time and not every student will be comfortable around children - no matter how well-behaved and quiet the child is.
  • WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
    For pole dance - Fitted Shorts and a vest top is ideal. As you progress up the pole syllabus you will need to have more skin contact with the pole. For Hoop - Fully dressed and fitted clothing to protect the skin.
  • WHAT SHOULD I AVOID FOR CLASS?
    NO jewellery - it scratches the poles and it may also cause injury to you. NO moisturiser! Please avoid wearing any creams or lotion on your hands and body on the same day as your class. Creams and lotions increase the risk of injury as it can make the pole slippery for you and other students. No clothing with exposed metal parts. Metallic zips and buttons can scratch the poles.
  • I AM RUNNING LATE - CAN I STILL JOIN
    We prefer everyone to turn up at least 5 minutes before the start of the class. This gives you time to get dressed, grab your sanitation pack, speak to your instructor and say hello to your class members before class begins. If you arrive more than 5 minutes after the class start time, you will not be able to join the class. The door will be locked after 5 minutes. ​ Every session requires a warm-up. If you are late, then you are missing the most important part of the class. The warm-up prepares your body and mind for the class, reduces the risk of injuries and enhances your physical performance. Your health and safety is our number one priority.
  • DO I NEED TO BE STRONG AND FLEXIBLE TO ATTEND?
    No - these classes build strength and flexibility! You do not need any background in fitness or dance to attend our classes.
  • I AM ON A CLASS WAITING LIST - HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN A SPACE IS AVAILABLE?
    When classes are full, you can sign up to be on the wait list. If a space becomes available you will receive an email from go team up, letting you know you have been added into class and are no longer on the wait list. If you are added into class, you are held to the same cancellation policy as any other class you sign up for. When signing up for the wait list, please monitor your emails and be ready to come to the studio.
  • WHO CAN JOIN THE CLASS?
    Classes are for EVERYONE! Please see our age limit for classes.
  • I AM PREGNANT - CAN I STILL COME TO CLASS?
    Current Students - Safety is our main concern when teaching. If you are an existing Aerial Sports student you must notify your instructor as soon as you are aware you are pregnant. We advise students who become pregnant to avoid pole and hoop due to the higher risk pole can place on the body. If you choose to continue - you will only be allowed to practise content you are already familiar with. New Students - New students who are pregnant unfortunately cannot start classes. ​ Once baby is born - As every pregnancy is different - there is no defined time period before starting/continuing pole. We advise at least six weeks after a vaginal birth and for a C-Section at least 10 weeks. Both only then with the consent of a doctor. If re-joining back to classes - we advise revisiting a lower level class to recondition your body for a few weeks.
  • CAN I WEAR HEELS TO POLE CLASS?
    Of course! Your feet - your choice! You have the option of bare feet or socks during heel routine classes if you do not feel comfortable in heels.
  • CAN I TURN UP WITHOUT BOOKING?
    No - all classes and private slots must be booked.
  • HOW DO I BOOK A CLASS?
    You book directly on our Go Team Up page. https://goteamup.com/p/3329332-aerial-sports/ Purchase studio class credits on our membership tab and register for one of our classes.
  • HOW DO I BOOK A PRIVATE TRAINING SESSION?

  • WHAT DOES THE TRICKS CLASS INVOLVE?
    A 1 hour tricks class involves - A warm up - Conditioning - Learning shapes and combos - Cool down
  • HOW MUCH ARE CLASSES?
    We operate via a credit system. Workshops are one-off payments. Please check our prices on our price page.
